They Think it's All Together . . . . It Is Now!
The centenary of the Christmas truce took centre stage at this year’s ECHO carol concert held at Liverpool’s Anglican cathedral last night.
The highlight for the 1000+ attending was The Farm performing an acoustic version of All Together Now, which is still aiming to be a Christmas number 1 victory for The Peace Collective and a celebration of the 100 year anniversary of the Christmas truce of World War One.
Joining The Farm were camapigners and loyal supporters of their initaitive including the giant statue carrying the name and message of All Together Now from CD into 3D. The statue is this morning back in The Bombed Oit Church St Lukes until Sunday night before leaving for Flanders, Belgium for Christmas Day. The Bombed Out Church has seen an unprecedented number of visitors over the last week where the monument has been exhibited. The support has seen over an incredible 8.600 likes on Facebook and a demand that a permanent version may find a home there.
The statue's creators from Castle Fine Arts Foundry in Liverpool have been moved by the response and pledge to try and make this dream a reality in addition to looking to donate a copy to the people of Belgium from the people of Britain.
